Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a pastor, television host and an author. He is also the president of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc., also known under Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. He finished his primary and secondary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. There he earned an BSc.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was at one point a man who was married to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry

While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC grew to become the largest campus-based church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. The Believer’s LoveWorld is home to millions of followers and associates around the globe.

Through the 2002 environment for the miracles program, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The program was canceled in May of 2004 after the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria announced that churches should cease broadcasting miracles.

The Trauma Care International Foundation was established to enhance the quality of life and overall health of communities as well as countries by encouraging better emergency response services for accidents and emergencies. The foundation intends to achieve this feat through health education, advocacy and community-based programs while positioning to provide support for national policies regarding trauma care.

More than a thousand sessions of training for emergency safety and security were given by the foundation. They have also trained thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers, as well as road transport workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps
