Pastor Chris: Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on December 7 th, 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family of faith, surrounded by loving and loving parents. He is the oldest child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of the Oyakhilome families. She passed on her divine grace to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. His brother, Reverend Ken is the highly regarded pastor of Christ Embassy’s Houston, Texas Church and an active member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council and his sister, KattyWorghiren, is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry (LMAM), which is home to several global best-selling gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow her father’s model of sharing the Word of God with the world, also called CSO, she is an accomplished, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then won a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. Pastor Chris: A Mentor

While still at university, the Man of God started what would later turn out to be the biggest church worldwide. It started with a small group of prayer called ‘Youth For Christ’. The group would later become the foundation for LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy as well as eventually millions of followers around the world.

The LoveWorld ministry under the direction of Pastor Chris, became an early pioneer in satellite television and Christian television programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station to broadcast from Africa all day, via free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations around the globe.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The ministry operates two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris hosts sessions throughout the year that enable miracles to take place.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome created the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI) as an international non-profit corporation. Its purpose is to help the most vulnerable people and communities in some countries and regions of poverty all over the world.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver vital services and hope to the poor, needy and neglected. COFI is a partnership of five who are dedicated to improving the living conditions in some the most neglected areas.

COFI is responsible for the InnerCity Mission ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC, Traumacare International Foundation TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), along with the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to improve the wellbeing, health and spirits of the most vulnerable.

The charity also provides food to indigent children. Pastor Chris believes in the importance of solid communities through COFI, The InnerCity Mission and the advancement of good governance, accountable leadership and sustainable development both in Africa as well as other areas that are vulnerable around the globe, as per the Sustainable Development Goals.
