    Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, TV host, and an an author. He is the CEO and President of Believers’LoveWorld Incorporated which is also called Christ Embassy International.

    Oyakhilome Chris Oyakhilome Background

    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He was a pupil at the secondary and primary school. He then attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) located in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with a BSc. In Architecture.

    AAU also awarded him an honourary Doctor of Science prize. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two kids.

    Chris Oyakhilome Ministries

    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry while in school at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

    YFC expanded and became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld, a worldwide ministry with millions upon millions members around the globe has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.

    Through the”Atmosphere for Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry through television. They stopped airing the program in May of 2004, after the then President of Nigeria – Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country’s president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should stop airing miracles on television.

    Pastor Chris’s Ministry has four arms that include publishing ministry to heal and teaching for television, and a television ministry for TV. These are the ministries was used to develop the healing school, the setting for miracles and the global prayer network of Pastor Chris.

    The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) is an initiative that aims to develop and expand the leadership capabilities of Africans.     The foundation honours these young leaders through an award ceremony called The Future Africa Leaders’ Award. It is held on the Eve of each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, (LCA), Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. The winners receive an award by Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).

    The TraumaCare International foundation was established to increase the lifespan and health of local communities. The foundation will achieve this goal by assisting in the development of national policies on health education and trauma treatment.
